Stay Connected

Law enforcement agencies are increasingly embracing the concept of a connected officer, supported by mobile technology and apps. They can access mission-critical information, including background checks, photos, videos and detailed schematics on demand, without having to contact dispatch. Mobile technology is improving situational awareness and is critical for effective policing and keeping our first responders safe. Police need to be able to receive information securely and quickly while on the go and mobile connectivity is making this happen quicker and more accurately than ever before.

Built Tough

A correctional officer’s job is rarely done from an office desk chair; their office is out on patrol, whether it is on the road, in the field, or through the halls, and an officer needs technology agile and durable enough to keep up. The equipment corrections officers use in their day-to-day operations gives them access to the real-time data needed in the field, enhances situational awareness, and connects officers to each other and other agencies. To keep up with the pace of the job, it has been recognized that smartphones and tablets are a critical part of being able to keep our officers safe while helping them getting the job done.

Goes Where You Go

En route to an incident, mobile devices provide firefighters access to critical data, including the locations of other attending vehicles and fire hydrants, floor plans and building occupancy. Smartphones and tablets also enable on-scene digital incident management to coordinate the resources of personnel and apparatus, and this information can be monitored locally and remotely. For firefighters, communication becomes a matter of life and death, and their communications need to be fast, reliable and accurate.

Reliable Communication

Timely and accurate information is key to successful emergency medical service (EMS) operations. The more relevant, real-time data that EMTs can access at incident scenes, the more effectively they can act to save lives, minimize damage to property and equipment and protect themselves and the public. Mobile devices and tablets allow EMS responders to share information, stay in constant communication with dispatchers and receiving hospitals and record and retrieve patient information while en route.
